Our mission

ISC develops ideas for using seaweeds in creative and sustainable ways, particularly with other businesses who want to do the same. 

We inspire companies to understand the need for their responsible stewardship of the wild seaweed resource, which is at the heart of a viable, long-term business, and the support of coastal jobs and lives. 

We understand the potential role seaweed plays in the circular economy, and we always  strive  to further this knowledge through education, outreach as well as novel research, both publicly and privately funded.
